Country Hill has four shops and a furniture warehouse that helps towards the financial support for our cats at the shelter. Our shops sell household items, appliances, clothing, accessories, books, DVDs and games, crockery and so much more.
We take donations of any of the items listed, including electrical items (which are PAT tested before re-sale). Please be considerate with what you are donating to us; we can not accept any items that are broken, faulty or are missing a fire safety label.
If you are a tax payer you are eligible to gift aid your donations. We fill out a form with your name, address and signature - no one will contact you, and this costs you nothing! Simply put, it means we can claim back an additional 25%, which helps us out just that little bit more.
We also work in partnership with a company who take clothing from donations that cannot be sold on and sort, wash and send these items over to India, Africa and Pakistan where people really need them. We receive a small amount for clothing and hope to increase our income from these salvage items. Refresh your wardrobe and drop off your unwanted clothing to us!
